FOTODEMIC GRANT
Open Call for NEW Ideas

the grant

FOTODEMIC is announcing an open call to reward innovative ideas that challenge conventional storytelling techniques. As an online publication that values innovative visual strategies, we partnered with Meero Foundation to create a grant open call that supports these ideas.

Our grant sponsors artists who make use of innovative storytelling methods that impact the collective consciousness. We are looking for proposals that uniquely engage with viewers emotionally, reshape their way of thinking, challenge the status quo, and motivate action. In particular, we are interested in projects that help envision a path to a better future.

The presentation is as important as the proposal. Is it an interactive website? Let’s see a sketch. Are you interested in imagery overlaid with sound? Let’s hear it. Will you mix poetry and slow-motion video? Let’s see it.  The most innovative project proposals or works-in-progress will be showcased on our website.

Eight artists, selected by FOTODEMIC, will receive:

  • $250 grant

  • An editing session with FOTODEMIC

  • A portfolio review with FOTODEMIC

  • Publication on FOTODEMIC.ORG
