Most Bizarre Moments On Internet (MBMOI) es un ejercicio de documentación ilustrada que surgió en medio de la pandemia donde lo único que tenía como generador de nuevas experiencias era el internet. Seleccioné imágenes de los listados más bizarros que encontré cuando procuraba ocupar mi tiempo.
Lo esencial de este proyecto es conservar la idea de lo cotidiano y divertido en el papel a pesar del peligro. La selección de escenas inverosímiles propone un mundo distópico en donde los eventos "graciosos" ponen en riesgo el ser que habita cada papel. Hacen del peligro algo estúpido.
Most Bizarre Moments On Internet (MBMOI) is an illustration exercise that emerged in the midst of the pandemic where the internet was the only thing I had as a generator of new experiences. I selected images from the most bizarre listings that I came across while trying to occupy my time.
The essence of this project is to preserve the idea of amusement in the everyday on paper despite the underlying threat. This selection of unlikely scenes proposes a dystopian world where "funny" events put the characters’ lives at risk. They make the danger ridiculous.
