This iconic red post box has several stories to tell. It's a link with the past and normal life here. But it's also a reflection of the times. The Priority Post box sticker is official. It means that you can mail your Covid test to the lab from here (even on a Sunday). That makes this a superhero among postboxes. Here you can fight the virus and do your bit. Your sample might get lost in an ordinary postbox. The art sticker is unofficial, but cheers me up. I've seen this image for years in various parts of Camden, either drawn on walls or as a small poster sticker. The version at right was already faded and worn in 2019. After the first lock down in March over here, I stopped seeing any new street art for many months. This new print of the lady with red lips just appeared in late December. The virus is still raging, but art is raging back.
