When My World Stood Still

My name is Tete Silva and I’m (was?) essentially a street photographer.

When the world stopped, for two weeks I did not shoot a single photo, I did not study, nor did I edit any image. All I did was take care of my balcony plants, as if I was trying to take care of myself through the slow pace of nature.

Two weeks later reality knocked at my door, with all the melancholy of missing people, the streets, the world, brings. These photos are a small part of this anguishing process, but also about the deceleration that allowed me to look not only inside but beyond me.
