Thanksgiving in 2020

During a year marked by upheaval, the Thanksgiving holiday was observed in unconventional ways across the United States. This collective diary includes work made by eight different photographers who documented their experience. It shows the perspectives of an indigenous visual storyteller, a family in isolation, those who gathered, who had to work, and who traveled to be close to a loved one. Thanksgiving takes on a different meaning for everyone, but this diary looks at how people found ways to be grateful and resilient in their own space
